GAFI is designed to scale high-impact, life-saving interventions—fast and at scale—through a blended capital model that delivers measurable, sustainable results.
The Urgent Need & Justification
The world is facing a compounding crisis of hunger, malnutrition, and broken food systems. Climate shocks, conflict, and economic instability are driving millions into deeper vulnerability—especially women and children.
GAFI was created to bridge this deadly gap—rapidly mobilising capital to deliver nutrition and food where it’s needed most.

More than 783 million people are food insecure, with 345 million facing acute hunger—nearly triple pre-pandemic levels. Entire regions face prolonged food crises and growing instability. - Preventable Child Mortality
Malnutrition remains a leading cause of child mortality, contributing to 3 million deaths every year. 45 million children are suffering from wasting—leaving them dangerously vulnerable to disease and early death.
